Guardian Bell provides a clear procedure that protects vehicles while also helping businesses meet duty of care and compliance responsibilities.

If the tracker detects tampering, unauthorised movement, or a battery disconnect, an alert is raised, and our monitoring centre contacts the client. Once theft is confirmed, the client must inform the police, obtain a Crime Reference Number (CRN), and provide this to Guardian Bell.

Our team then works directly with the police, supplying live location data. Recovery teams are updated, officers are guided to the vehicle’s location, and the employer receives updates throughout until the car is secured.

Thatcham approved protection is available to all Guardian Bell Fleet customers using our Apex Auto professionally installed tracking units for a small additional subscription.

  1. Alert and Verification
    • The tracker triggers an alert if the car is moved without permission, tampered with, or the battery is disconnected
    • The monitoring centre contacts the client to confirm the incident
    • The client reports the theft to the police, obtains a Crime Reference Number (CRN), and provides it to Guardian Bell
  2. Tracking and Police Coordination
    • Once the CRN is confirmed, our operators liaise directly with the police
    • GPS signals are shared in real time, so the vehicle can be tracked accurately
